The Company

You will be working as a PHP developer for a large retail organisation with over 400 stores throughout the UK and have plans for expansion this year which makes it a great time to be part of the company. You will be working amongst a team sharing engineering responsibilities across a wide spectrum of technologies.

The Role

As a PHP developer, you will have commercial knowledge and hands-on engineering experience of working with PHP/JavaScript. You will develop and design the clients intranet system such as the click and collect web services. You must be enthusiastic about emerging technologies who embraces a culture of continuous learning within a growing company. Some of the technologies used include

*PHP (Laravel, Lumen, zend)

*JavaScript / Typescript ( node, angular js,angular)

*Linux, bootstrap,docker

*AWS cloud solutions (Dynamo DB, Lambda, EC2,S3)

*Microservices

Key Skills/Requirements

Knowledge and experience of PHP and/or JavaScript is essential. Being a confident communicator with a can do attitude. Being proactive and willing to take on new challenges
