A Business Analyst is required to join ground breaking projects within a rapidly expanding Technology Company within Oxfordshire. This Business Analyst is an excellent opportunity to work with ground breaking technology, on multi-million pound projects with teams across the world - all within an Agile (Scrum and Kanban) environment. The Business Analyst will be offered a competitive starting salary (in this case, up to £66k), a bonus that in recent years has been 10% and paid in full nearly every year. The successful Business Analyst will join a friendly and energetic team based in Oxford and will be supporting complex projects, finding and solving problems whilst keeping an eye on strategic company targets. This rare and exciting Business Analyst role will focus on but not be limited to defining processes and requirements, researching best practices and gathering and analysing group data.
The Business Analyst has the following Main Duties and Responsibilities
Participate in developing functional and non-functional requirements, testing, training, and implementing applications into production environments
The Business Analyst will need to, on occasion, act as an agile coach / mentor
Elicit complex business requirements
Assess and document the benefits, risks, and critical success factors of projects
Demonstrate that business needs are satisfied within a given technical solution
The Business Analyst will need to assist with making appropriate commitments to deliver business value
Organize and facilitate project planning, release planning, demos and other meetings
Arrange and participate in daily stand-up meetings, reviews, and retrospectives
The Business Analyst will need to analyse existing business processes
Ensure requirements are being met
Work with off shore teams
The Business Analyst should have the following Key Skills and Experience
Strong Agile Experience e.g. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Lean
Experience of the software delivery
Experience working in a technical environment
Good understanding of agile principles
Writing User/Agile stories
Mentor and support junior members of the team
Knowledge of acceptance criteria suitable for BDD
The Business Analyst should desirably have the following skills:
IT research
software analysis
experience with Data Modelling, Data flows and Data analysis
design skills
Jira
ISEB certified
The Business Analyst should ideally have the following traits:
Excellent facilitator
Exceptional organizational skills
Strong time management
Approachable
Strong communication both written and verbal
