BI Developer - Portsmouth

An organisation near Portsmouth are seeking a skilled BI Developer to join their team to help kick on a period of transformation within the BI Team and solution as they consolidate a disparate solution into a unified platform.

The company are looking for a candidate who is passionate about the power of good BI and what it can do to affect business change, as well as motivation to learn new technologies as they emerge and not accept the status quo.

You will be involved in speaking to various arms of the business to understand their reporting needs, then going about complex reports development in SSRS (version SQL 2012 and above) and analysis of Multidimensional and Tabular cubes in SSAS. The organisation have begun the process of migrating their platform to SQL 2016 and moving away from legacy reporting tools such as SAPBW and Crystal Reports.

Key skills include:

- Complex report development from scratch in SSRS

- Demonstrable experience in gathering requirements from stakeholders and understanding their needs

- Experience in software coding/integration using either C#, VB.NET or similar

- Experience in SSAS (Multidimensional and/or Tabular) is highly desirable

This is a permanent role, offering a starting salary of around £40-50,000 for the right candidate, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.
