Cyber Security Incident Responder - £45,000 - £60,000 - London/ Reading

Are you a client or customer facing Incident Responder? A Cyber Security professional with the ability to deliver on small to large scale, high pressure incident response engagements on client premises?

You will be working for a Global IT services firm that is looking to expand their Incident Response division, as part of the wider Cyber Security practise, this is an excellent opportunity to join a team full of Cyber Security professionals, rapidly growing and highly respected within the Information Security Consulting arena. This organisation are an award winning, industry leading and security minded firm who at the forefront of Risk Advisory and excellent customer relations/services.

You should have the ability to work autonomously or play a key role within small teams of first-responders to incidents. You will be looked upon by the client to take control of incidents and provide a Subject Matter Expertise to assess and ensure a successful resolution. These cyber-attacks wouldn't be low-level Trojans, phishing attacks or ransomware - sophisticated and targeted APT-style nation-state sponsored campaigns are the usual culprits, so for this reason - a technical appreciation of network and network security infrastructure in addition to threat intelligence would be of significant benefit. Although this is a client-facing role, individuals from an end user background will most definitely be considered depending on the level of their technical ability, communication skills and internal stakeholder engagement.

Ideally skilled/ experienced within: Cyber Incident Response (CSIRT/CERT), Malware Analysis (Static, Dynamic & Reverse Engineering), Threat Hunting and Threat Intelligence (Consumption & Production). You wouldn't require to have all of these but at a base minimum, some Incident Response or Forensic experience is a requirement.

This is an excellent consulting role for you to take the next step within your career, if you have worked in consulting services, direct from industry or in an end user environment, this could be the right opportunity for you!

If you feel this role would be of interest to you, please do not hesitate to apply or reach out to me on LinkedIn (Samuel S. Berti, Computer Futures).
