Software Programme Manager - Embedded Communications

£55-65k

My client, a leading vendor of 4G Broadband Wireless Products and Solutions, is looking for an experienced Software Programme Manager to join their growing team.

You will be responsible for ensuring successful delivery of R&D software projects from concept through to release and will be working closely with the development and test teams to ensure deadlines are met and meet the release criteria.

Successful Software Programme Managers will have a bachelors degree (2:1 minimum) in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications or a similar field, and experience in the following areas;

* 5+ years experience leading software development projects

* A technical background in embedded software development

* Good knowledge of project management, software development methodologies and test methodologies

Experience with communication protocols; 3G, 3GPP, LTE, 4G or WiMAX would be highly advantageous.
