Database Analyst in Knutsford, Cheshire

My client is one of the UK's leading banks. They specialise in customer, corporate and investment banking. They are looking for a new Database Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will be the key point of contact for all project related queries. You will be expected to provide regular project updates to business managers as well as monitoring the capacity of all databases.

For this role you will need:

* Previous work experience as a Database Analyst

* Hands on experience of DB2 and IMS

* Working knowledge of JCL, TWS and TACF

* A strong understanding of IBM, BMC, CA to manipulate databases

* Experience in the identification of performance, capacity and contention issues

* Good communication skills

* Stake holder management skills
