Working for one of the UKs leading engineering support services organisations we are seeking a Web / UX Designer. As a Web Designer with experience in UX / UI you will create web design solutions that have a high visual impact across the company's portfolio of applications.
Responsibilities
* Web / UX design across desktop and mobile application platforms
* Know the brand inside out and translate it into modern and engaging web and mobile interfaces
* Help define and implement web and mobile design governance across the company
* Respond to project and design briefs, understanding user needs before making design decisions and writing code
Key Skills
Essential
* Good design ability with a demonstrable design portfolio
* Good UX / UI / user-centric design skills
* Wireframing / prototyping tools
* Good HTML and CSS knowledge
* Adobe Creative Suite
* A knowledge of JavaScript
Desirable
* Content and writing for the web
* Web server support (Windows IIS, Linux Apache)
* CMS administration and development - Wordpess, SiteCore, SharePoint
* Server-side development skills (ASP.net / php)
* JQuery and other JavaScript libraries
* Google Analytics
* Working with / managing 3rd party developers
* Agile / Microsoft Team Foundation Server
