With the global rise in cyber crime - especially ransomware - it is now more important than ever for applications developed on Microsoft Azure to be secure. Azure is growing rapidly as enterprise customers adopt the cloud and build hybrid solutions. Security is an incredibly important topic with enterprise customers in general and a critical part of the conversation as customers transition to the cloud.

My client is an internationally recognised provider of professional services and advice in the information security and privacy sector recruiting for an Azure Data Protection Specialist to join their expanding data protection and privacy practice at all levels.

You will guide, advise and implement new policies and procedures to support our clients in becoming GDPR compliant. This will be through gap analyses, data mapping and training. You will play a key part in making sure clients meet the May 2018 deadline.

You will be able to demonstrate:

* Experience in providing privacy advice or consultancy, either within a large organisation or to a variety of smaller organisations;

* Knowledge or experience of local data protection laws;

* Experience of working in a compliance role, including compliance with privacy legislation;

* Experience in a consultancy role, either internally or externally;

* A broad knowledge of information security, risk management and corporate governance;

* An ability to manage client relationships;

* Good personal organisation, self-motivation and project management skills;

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

* Experience with MS Azure Information Protection, AD-RMS and Azure products and technologies, including solution architecture, deployment, management and support in a large global enterprise

Other desirable capabilities:

* Experience of working with ISO 27001 and/or other ISO management systems standards.

* Experience or knowledge of other information-related frameworks, standards, codes and methodologies.

* Delivery of training, both classroom-based and online.

* Auditing of ISO standards-based management systems.

* Experience of commercial relationship management.
