Title: Mobile Device Test Expert/Lead

Location: Dusseldorf

Salary: EUR90-100k (depending on level of experience)

Global mobile technology company is looking to hire a Mobile Device Test Expert to take a lead role in the design and development of a complete test model for its mobile handset technology which will be rolled out across Europe and, potentially, globally.

Job responsibilities:

-Design the advanced testing methodology for mobile devices for the best product quality, including user experience, performance, power consumption, stability, Application compatibility etc.

-Support global HQ to cover the test scenarios of European and USA environments and user cases.

-Co-operation with Application developers on innovations and optimisation on devices.

-Advanced Mobile Technology Insight including AR, VR, AI and new testing methodology.

Necessary Skills / Attributes

-At least 8 years of experience in the mobile software development or quality assurance related fields from a mobile handset manufacturer.

-Strong analytical skills and experience with implementation and administration of Mobile Software Quality Assurance metrics, such as defect profiles and performance to entry/exit criteria, including performance, security, power consumption, stability, user experience etc.

-Strong knowledge/experience of Android OS framework, Android SDK, Application development and testing.

-Ideally, knowledge/experience of on-device AI, AR, VR preferred.

-Strong communication and organisational skills.

-Team management experience is also required.

This is a new team, so you will have responsibility of helping to grow and develop this important function.
