The role:

This System's Analyst role will be working to enhance the operational effectiveness of the Typhoon aircraft. You would be joining a small team working alongside RAF personnel in the Typhoon Mission Support Centre (MSC)

Key Accountabilities:

You will be responsible for -

* Providing analysis output as directed by the customer

* Developing timely and efficient methods of systems analysis in order to meet trials and customer activities

* Actively pursuing continual improvement to ensure outputs remain timely, relevant and of the highest quality

* Acting as the data and systems analysis subject matter expert in support of the MSC

* Providing mentoring and developing awareness/understanding of data analysis tools and techniques to MSC personnel

* Responsible to the Team Leader for maintaining engineering standards

Key Capabilities:

* You will have worked within a similar role for a minimum of 2-3 years

* Understand systems engineering principles

* Experience Data analysis experience; the use of appropriate tools (MATLAB) would be advantageous, and you will receive extensive training to the successful applicant

* Capable and prepared to work in a customer-facing environment

* Demonstrable ability to follow a methodical/systematic approach to analysis and problem solving

* Able to identify key facts and breaking down complex information to component parts

* Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in written form, conveying technical information tailored to the appropriate recipient

* Demonstrable experience of working effectively in both technical and non-technical teams

* Working knowledge of aircraft sensors

Essential Qualifications

* Physics, Engineering or Mathematics degree.
