Location: Dublin City Centre

Salary: EUR65,000 - EUR75,000 per year Fixed Term Contract + (Yearly Lunch Allowance, Pension, Medical, Life, etc)

Contract Type: Initial 12 Months

Start Date: Up to 1 Months' Notice Period Accommodated

IT PROJECT MANAGER

Our client one of the world's leading financial services providers are seeking a Technical Project Manager to join their team based in Dublin City Centre on an initial 12 month contract basis.

The IT Project Manager will lead the successful operational delivery of one or more IT projects to meet business and customer demands. This position sits within the development team

IT Project Manager KEY Responsibilities:

* Take responsibility for successful delivery of IT application development and management activities ensuring that standards and appropriate best practice is followed.

* Ensure that realistic project, quality, and risk plans are prepared and maintained for projects and sub-projects. Monitors and controls IT team performance against plans.

* Monitors and controls allocated IT human and material resources, associated revenue costs and all capital costs against the project budget.

* Assess the effect of changes to the projects on costs, timescale and/or resource needs and reports these to Project Managers and IT Manager.

* Liaises with other managers within IT and within the business; manages expectations of all project stakeholders.

IT Project Manager Requirements:

* Relevant 3rd Level qualification

* Candidate must have project delivery experience.

* IT Development experience/background is essential

* Financial services experience is advantageous but not essential

* Experience working within an Agile environment

* Candidate must have experience of working closely with Developers in a similar role

* Proven track record of successfully leading cross functional projects

* Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

* Customer facing experience - taking meetings with customers, providing input to resolve any issues, and driving any actions to completion.

* Demonstrated ability to complete multiple tasks under pressure

* Drives & manages change using influencing skills

* Previous experience of delivery within a Global multinational organisation.

* Project Management qualification.
