Group Merchandising is at the heart of our business - our primary goal is to ensure we have the right stock in the right place at the right time. We are an omnichannel business and this role requires a bright minded individual to help develop and shape merchandising systems and applications that will support future growth and stability. This role is an exciting opportunity for the right-minded candidate keen to work in a fast paced growing environment.

Deliverables: Criteria/Results by which success can be measured

Creating reports and applications to support the Merchandising team.

Providing ongoing support for existing systems

Continuous learning and personal development

Experience: Relevant experience for the role

Experience of building websites or applications is essential. Must be fluent in software development concepts and processes. Must be able to demonstrate and provide evidence of code you have written.

Evidence of projects you have contributed towards would be advantageous.

Essential knowledge:

HTML & CSS

Object-Oriented PHP

MySQL

JavaScript

Desirable:

jQuery

MVC

Git

Linux

Other Significant Role Requirements & Technical Knowledge: Any further key factors which have a bearing on a candidate’s ability to perform

5 GCSEs at Grade A-C including Maths and English and ICT.

High degree of computer literacy.

Excellent timekeeping.

Good communication skills.

Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail.

Able to work collaboratively with immediate team and cross-departmental

Takes responsibility for own continual self-learning
