Service Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical)

Reading (Field Based across South East)

£12/hr + Training + Overtime + Vehicle + Fuel

Excellent role on offer for a Service Engineer looking to join a rapidly growing company where you will benefit from excellent in house and manufacturer training, including gaining nationally recognized qualifications.

Do you have experience of working on Electrical and Mechanical equipment? Do you have experience Fault finding or Diagnosing Problems?

Established for over 50 years and growing consistently, this independently owned company specialise in the manufacturing, supply, Installation, Maintenance and Servicing of a range of Gates and Barriers. Their clients span the Commercial and Domestic markets with a number of high end contracts. Their rapid growth and success stems from providing world class products tailored to the premises and requirements in an effective and cost efficient manner.

In this role you will be required to attend sites across the South East of England to perform Planned and Reactive maintenance and servicing. As well as taking part in project work such as installations and commissioning. You will occasionally need to travel further afield or stay overnight, and there is a call out rota, compensated accordingly.

This role would therefore ideally suit an Electrical and Mechanical engineer who is looking to join an exciting, successful company where you will be given every opportunity to succeed. They are committed to continuous training and development of their staff, including in house training sessions and specialized manufacturers courses.

The Role;

*Servicing and Maintenance of Automatic Gates, barriers and related equipment.

*Field based across the South East, Occasionally further afield.

*Excellent Opportunities for training and progression

*£12/hr + Pension, Vehicle and Fuel (More experienced candidates also welcome)

The Skills;

*Mechanical/Electrical background

*Fault Finding and diagnostic Skills

*Electrical safety knowledge and qualifications a significant advantage

*Related industry experience and qualifications an advantage
