AS400 Administrator

An AS400 Administrator is urgently required for a Retail company for an 6 month initial contract.

Responsibilities:

* AS400/IBM ISERIES operations and administration

* Batch Job management Backup/Recovery using BRMS Environment management, Journal management Clean ups - Spool file, re-orgs, user messages, delete receivers.

* Configuration management: create/modify/delete devices.

* Communication management - FTP, SNADS, DDM, ODBC etc.

* Environment management - Create / modify / delete environments.

* Manage DR systems using Mimix Management third party tools

* Support the following tools/applications: Mimix One print, DBU RJS ROBOTS, Hawkeye Implementer etc.
