Tech Lead - Development

LOCATION: Central London

DURATION: 12 Months Contract with the option for further contract renewals

DAILY RATE: £ Attractive (subject to your skills and experience meeting our role requirements)

Due to the nature and urgency of this position, the Tech Lead must be DV Cleared to be considered for this position - please ensure you have this level of clearance in place before applying

Role Profile

An exciting opportunity has arisen for us to recruit a Tech Lead with a proven development background to lead a talented development team of Software Developers who build and provide as per requisitions.

Your role will be to establish a technical vision and work with the developers to turn into a reality. The project worked on comes in the form of needing to design and build. This team builds then passes on to support teams. When a request comes in, they check the existing template to use. If no template is provided then the team picks up with the customer to clarify the requirement fully.

Whilst the role is leading a team, on occasions you may be required to code. You will also be working with senior stakeholders to define technical options and agree solutions.

Candidate Profile

Although we are keen to talk to expereinced Tech Leads who can demonstrate current or previous experience of leading development teams, this role would also suit an experienced Developer who is keen make the step up and move into a more senior role with ambitions of leading a development team.

You must have excellent ability to code and familiar with operating systems/platforms; Windows, Linux, VMWare.

You need to also have good experience of working with senior stakeholders.
