Job Title: Infrastructure Technical Lead
Daily Rate: Up to £440
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 3 Months (Potential Ext)
Location: Solihull
The Role
We are currently looking for an experience Infrastructure Technical Lead for an initial 3 month role based in the Solihull area. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the following areas:
-Infrastructure Architecture Projects
-Legacy Systems
-Road mapping
-Designing and Configuring Storage
-Change Projects
-Stakeholder Management
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise with Infrastructure and Design work as this will be key to the project.
Essential Experience
*Proven experience architecting and delivering large IT projects
*Practical working knowledge of various Insurance applications.
*Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals including scoping out work breakdown structures, managing budgets and resource allocations.
*Solid understanding of IT governance processes.
*Strong technology understanding including; enterprise systems, web technologies, content management, document management and reporting.
*Ability to design solutions, including considerations for strategy, people (i.e. culture and organisation), process and technology
*Proven sales and demonstration capabilities, including the ability to articulate complex solutions to customers and prospects
*Proven history of quickly comprehending the functions and capabilities of new technologies, understanding how new capabilities can be integrated into the client solution, to add value to client and our customers.
*Clear commercial understanding of the needs of the business and of our customers
*Experience of application design for the Financial Service industry, particularly general insurance, would be advantageous
*Track record for remaining unbiased toward any specific technology or vendor, and for being more interested in results than personal preferences
*Strong analytical and organisational skills
*Good oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
*Effective leadership of large multi-disciplined teams
*Wide breath of IT knowledge, including legacy architectures
*Must be willing and able to undertake extensive international travel as required
