This design engineer will be posted in a team that doesn't deal with the standard product range, you will take the companies standard product range then adapt them to customer's specific or unique needs. Once you have understood the customers' requirements you will be tasked with drawing the ideas using Pro-e as well as consulting with the manufacturing team to see if the customer requirement is possible to manufacture.

The ideal candidate will have a flair for conceptual design, have experience using PRO-e and experience understanding and working to customers specific needs.

This is a great role for a design engineer or product design engineer that is bored working on long projects to join a company that will offer you a fast past design role.

The role:

*Design and engineer appropriate fast response product solutions.

*Understand client's specific needs to remodify current products.

*Provide analytical, structural and functional engineering guidance and support.

*Provide technical support to the rest of the business.

The person:

*Candidates will need to have experience using 3D CAD (ideally Pro-e)

*Have a minimum HNC in mechanical engineering.

*Good with dimensions and tolerances.

*Experience working with clients to establish their needs.
