My client who are a growing SME based in Edinburgh are seeking an experienced embedded software engineer. If you have high standards when it comes to code prepare to take this to the next level. As their Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will have responsibility for developing and maintaining embedded software for new or existing niche products.

You will be covering the whole product life cycle; encompassing specification, feasibility, development, verification, certification, handover to volume manufacturing and maintenance and will also be ensuring that Engineering support is provided for existing products.

* 3 years experience as an embedded software engineer (RTOS)

* Ability to develop software in C or C++, following the company standards.

* Ability to use Microsoft Visual Studio or Keil ARM development systems or something similar

* Ability to produce software design and test documentation

* Experience of working in a commercial research and development environment.
