Graduate Data Analyst 

Salford, Greater Manchester 

£20,000 - £23,000 Plus Private Medical Insurance (After Probation), 20 Days’ Holiday + Bank Holidays (Rising to 25 With Service) 

Providing unique and advanced solutions for cash management, our client seeks to make cash handling simplistic and financially sound. A superb opportunity has now arisen for a Graduate Data Analyst to join their team. 

This is the ideal role for an analytical graduate looking to develop a career within Business Intelligence with an exciting organisation. 

Our client offers a fast-paced and challenging environment in their offices in the heart of Salford, right opposite Media City, which provides the perfect setting in which to grow and develop. 

As a Graduate Data Analyst, you will be tasked with providing key data insight and analysis to the business. 

In this visible role, you will work closely with the Finance & Service Manager to set up and maintain automated data processes, develop reporting processes and support data validation and cleansing. 

Comfortable working with complex systems, you will monitor data quality, prepare reports, create data dashboards and gather, understand and document detailed business requirements. 

Although this is an office based role, you will be required to undertake occasional travel to customer sites. 

Interested? To be considered, you must have: 

- Experience of using statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques 

- Knowledge of data analysis tools and advanced MS Excel skills 

- Knowledge of data modelling, cleansing and enrichment techniques 

- A degree in a relevant discipline, such as business information systems, computer science, economics, information management, mathematics or statistics 

As a Graduate Data Analyst, you must be highly analytical and organised with excellent attention to detail and good communication skills. 

While not essential, experience of VBA and SQL Server would be beneficial to your application, as would experience of using BI and analytics platforms, such as Tableau, QlikView, Crystal Reports, D3 and Alteryx. Experience of statistical programmes, such as SPSS, SAS and RapidMiner would also be advantageous.
