As Principal Cloud Engineer - Digital, you’ll bring a passion for automation. A pivotal member of a growing team, you will help to shape an exciting future for our business applications. You’ll explore new ways of improving platform stability while protecting services and increasing business value. Ensuring the scalability, reliability, security and efficiency of our systems, you’ll take a hands-on, highly technical approach. As well as designing and building large scale distributed systems, you’ll help to define processes and standards, and mentor other members of the team. So what are we looking for? A highly experienced systems engineer, you have an impressively detailed understanding of Linux and Microsoft operating systems. You are an expert in delivering infrastructure, platform and software as a service solutions using public cloud services and open source tech. Proven experience in Ruby, Python, Go or Shell programming is also vital. Crucially, you are confident working independently to make a difference and coaching others to do the same.
