A Leading Science & Engineering Company working within the Defence sector have several exciting roles to offer to develop the next generation of sensors across all levels of experience in the fields of developing Radar and EW algorithms, techniques and products.
Radar
Experience in all or some of the following:
* Airborne, Land-Based or Ship-Based Radar.
* Waveform design.
* Detection, tracking and recognition of air, land and maritime vehicles.
* Algorithm development (e.g. using MATLAB, IDL, Python as well as theoretical development).
* Signal Processing.
* Demonstrator development (e.g. C, C++, Java, Simulink).
Knowledge of some or all of the following:
* Automatic Target Recognition (ATR).
* Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imaging.
* Space-Time Adaptive Processing (STAP).
* Moving Target Indication (MTI).
Electronic Warfare
Experience in all or some of the following:
* Defence EW systems, techniques and products.
* Electronic surveillance and geolocation techniques.
* Direction finding and advanced precision geolocation techniques.
* Communications & Radar signal techniques and waveform analysis.
Knowledge of some or all of the following:
* Signal processing.
* Mathematical analysis.
* Radio propagation.
* Communication systems and techniques.
* Satellite communications.
Person Specification:
* Degree in a science, engineering or mathematical subject or able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
* Candidates should be willing to undergo government vetting to achieve SC and/or DV as required. Due to this there may be certain projects where we will not be able to accept Dual Nationals.
* Innovative Self-starter able to demonstrate initiative.
* Offers solutions to problems.
