Excellent opportunity for a manager from a FMCG background to join a leading manufacturing company that will offer you an autonomous, varied and challenging role.

Based in Trowbridge this company specialise in the manufacture of house hold products that are supplied across the globe.

In this role you will have full autonomy of the engineering department. You main take will be to manage and fully develop the engineering operation in line with business requirements. You will also make major improvements in the mechanical efficient of key lines and develop continuous improvements plans to support this and Develop and implement a planned preventive maintenance system and implement an effective.

The ideal candidate will have engineering management experience from a liquid filling manufacturing background such as food or pharmaceutical.

The role:

*To manage and fully develop the engineering operation in line with business requirements.

*Have full responsibility of the engineering department.

*Assist with increasing the technical skills of the production operation.

*Make major improvements in the mechanical efficient of key lines and develop continuous improvements plans to support this.

*Develop and implement a planned preventive maintenance system and implement an effective prices to manage change parts a spares.

The Person:

*Engineering management experience from a liquid filling manufacturing background.

*Have an engineering qualification.
