*To provide advice and guidance on a wide range of complex Information Governance related matters including projects which involve the processing of personal data and / or sensitive personal data; requests for information; information sharing; security incidents; and research projects.

*To draft and / or review IG related agreements and protocols including information sharing agreements, data processing agreements, privacy impact assessments etc.

*To participate in the Council's plans for implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation through sitting on, and contributing to, a number of the work streams.

*To ensure the services the post holder supports are compliant with legislation, Codes of Practice, best practice and Council policies pertaining to information governance.

*To provide training and briefings as necessary on information management and governance.
