Long term 12 month initial project for an individual with a thorough understanding of HFC networks & network-testing Experience, The role will involve End to end operation and testing experience from CMTS to optical Node until end Tap-off.Identify noise at CMTS coupler test point and rectify the issue. .Perform the Egress survey to identify any leakage. Check CMTS to Node Alignment, Return and forward sweep, measure BER and MER on downstream.Check Amplifier performance by confirming Return and forward sweep, BER &MER as per specification and more..!

Basic requirements would be to work at heights and in various challenging field environments ,* able to troubleshoot and repair HFC trunk & distribution RF, AC & DC faults *, perform routine Optical Node, RF Amplifier and End of Line testing and balancing , fine tune reverse HFC plant with minimum Egress Noise. Use HFC plant test equipment - including Signal level meters, volt/current meters, Veex CM3000 spectrum analyzers, leakage testing meters, CPD testing meters, Optical meters & OTDRs
