Role: SC Network Design & Implementation Engineer

Location: Telford

Duration: 6 months

Rate: £500.00pd in scope of IR35

Clearance: SC Clearance

My Client is looking for 2 hands on Network Design & Implementations Engineers, to join the team based in Telford, for an initial 6 month project.

Role Requirements:

Working within a secure network environment alongside other Network Engineers in order to provide consultancy, create designs and carry out Implementation activities as part of major project deliveries. Work closely with project Teams on a variety of projects taking information from initial customer Proposals/specifications and turning them into completed design documentation.

Skills/Experience:

* Working within a networking technical environment.

* Design principals and being able to turn proposals/specifications into approved design documents.

* Significant experience in using Cisco devices, principally switches, routers, load-balancers and VPN concentrators.

* Experience in using other vendor devices, principally HP/Aruba switches and wireless devices such as Aruba WLC & WAP.

* Experience of other network technologies.

* Experience in using various firewall devices such as Fortinet FortiGATE, McAfee Sidewinder, Cisco ASA and Nokia Checkpoint.

* Understanding and application of firewall security and policies.

* Experience in WAN optimisation.

* Experience of configuring Cloud technologies, AWS, Azure and Oracle.

* Extensive experience of troubleshooting network issues in both office base and data centre environments.
