Senior Desktop Infrastructure Engineer (SCCM). Technology driven, global Investment Management firm is seeking a highly skilled Desktop Engineer with expertise in SCCM. This is a varied and challenging role in which you will be responsible for planning, architecture, implementation, scalability, security, advanced support and overall day-to-day management of the Desktop environment. You'll liaise with senior stakeholders and act as the technical authority across multiple technologies to evaluate technical proposals and recommend and implement improvements.

Responsibilities will also encompass the design and ongoing management of the global Windows desktop estate, packaging all Windows 7 / 10 applications using APP-v and standard MSI as well as ownership of the Apple MAC estate.

You'll be working in a professional, collaborative environment in City based offices.

Requirements:

*Expertise with SCCM 2012

*VBScript / PowerShell scripting for automation

*Advanced troubleshooting of the Windows desktop: Deep Event Viewer analysis / PerfMon / WinDBG / SCCM log files

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to form strong working relationships and manage senior stakeholders

*Good knowledge of SQL
