Leading player in the international devices industry specializes in manufacturing Class III medical devices within a world class manufacturing environment with an impressive portfolio having built up relevant expertise in all areas of manufacturing from handling product/process transfers to the scaling up of high volume commercial manufacturing are seeking an experience Manufacturing Engineer. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager:

* This hands on Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for co-ordinating and completing complex projects supporting the implementation of lean Manufacturing successfully against challenging timelines.

* You will successfully complete validations and process improvements using statistical tools and six sigma techniques.

* As the Manufacturing Engineer you will lead the conversion of manufacturing process from batch manufacturing to single piece continuous flow manufacturing and support the development of new processes in conjunction with Process / Manufacturing / R&D Engineering ensuring that new processes are stable and capable.

* With two brand new lines being brought in you will also provide adequate technical support to new product introductions and change controls are being effectively managed. The role is a great opportunity to bring fresh ideas to the team.Requirements:

Education / Experience Essential

* Primary degree qualification in engineering or equivalent subject.

* 4-5 year's industrial experience, preferably in the medical device industry. (catheter manufacturing would be an advantage)

* Must have experience in proven Implementation of Lean manufacturing.

* Six Sigma Green or Black Belt would be an advantage
