Rate: - £400-£500

Length: - 3 Month Contract

Role: DevOps Engineer

Day to day responsibilities:

* Supporting the 'Infrastructure as Code' approach to deployment and cloud management.

* To assist, support and develop an open source security tool.

* Assist in troubleshooting and resolving system outages/performance impact.

* To communicate effectively with findings for the ongoing improvement of the project and he specific client.

Technology required:

* A breadth of knowledge and experience with configuration management tools most in particular Saltstack. Supporting the 'Infrastructure as Code' approach to deployment and cloud management.

* CI/CD - merging development with testing. Experience in building code collaboratively whilst checking for issues - Jenkins.

* Strong coding skills within Python.

* Experience with general-purpose programming language - Ruby.

* Knowledge with open source tool - Packer/Vagrant (HashiCorp).

* Experience with Linux operating systems, in particular RedHat Enterprise and CentOS.
