IT Infrastructure Manager / Microsoft / Networking / Team Management / IT Security / Permanent / Wolverhampton / West Midlands

My award winning client is looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to join their specialist IT team in Wolverhampton.

The IT Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for the delivery and management of a reliable IT infrastructure for voice and data services within the organisation, ensuring that service levels for performance, availability and support are achieved through the internal IT infrastructure team or external service providers.

The IT Infrastructure Manager will also develop a full understanding of the IT requirements of the organisation and implement infrastructure solutions that meet IT service and strategic objectives. As well and this the successful candidate will manage security and disaster recovery in relation to IT infrastructure, including the documentation, communication and implementation of related policies and procedures.

Key skills required:

*Extensive experience of a Microsoft networked environment.

*Experience of managing WAN and PBX/VOIP technologies.

*Significant experience at a senior level, introducing technology changes effectively.

*Substantial experience of establishing, monitoring and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.

*Experience of liaising with external suppliers or subject matter experts.

*Experience of managing processes and influencing effectively.

*Understanding and appreciation of current, new and emerging technologies.

*Experience of managing multiple projects, or programme management.

*Experience of supervising staff.

*Experience of IT Security would also be highly advantageous.

*Have professional qualifications e.g. ITIL, Prince 2, CCNP, CCDP, MCSE, CISSP or CISM.

*Able to travel and stay away overnight when necessary.
