LEAD SECURITY ARCHITECT

My client are looking for a Lead Security Architect to work on a number of high profile programmes.

The key responsibilities for this role are:

o Define the solution architecture for high-profile, public facing, government digital services.

o Define the security architecture roadmap for the project.

o Investigate and thoroughly understand the current live applications and systems.

o Ensure that the scope, context and constraints are documented and accepted.

o Identify, engage and enfranchise stakeholders.

o Capture and interpret input from technical and domain specialists (and represent this accurately to stakeholders as needed).

o Ensure that the architecture meets the system quality attributes.

o Provide security architecture and technical leadership.

The ideal candidates needs strong knowledge and understanding of:

* Cyber security standards and frameworks.

* Market leading security technologies and solutions.

* Architectural concepts, methodologies and approaches.

* Strong, hands-on technical experience

* Architecture, design patterns and UML.

* IAAS, PAAS, SAAS and cloud platforms including AWS.

* Common security integration techniques and approaches.

* Non-functional requirements for design.

* Quality Assurance skills to assess quality and completeness of a project delivery.

* Traditional and agile delivery methods.

* Ability to understand and challenge technical designs and configurations.

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 10 weeks.
