Test Manager/Contractor/3 months/£350/IR35

Spring Technology is currently recruiting for a Test Manager to work with our public sector client based in Cornwall, Truro. This is a contract position for an initial 3 month period with the potential to extend. This role will fall within IR35; the pay for this role is £350 per day. The Test Manager will establish test strategies and processes to support the client's Digital programme. The initial priority will be working specifically within the Windows 10 and Office 2016 migration project.

Main tasks will include:

*Define test strategies;

*Develop and advise upon test plans;

*Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all processes for testing as per standards defined by the organisation;

*Stakeholder relationship management;

*Quality assurance;

*Oversight of the co-ordination of end users as required to complete UAT (testing).

*Building a team within this accountability if necessary.

Previous experience includes:

*ISEB / ISTQB foundation or above certification

*Knowledge of software testing theories and practices include use of testing tools and techniques.

*Previous experience in a lead test role. Preferably in large scale migration programmes.

*Ability to articulate business requirements into structured test plans to ensure quality of released product

*Able to effectively deal with changing priorities or obstacles and to provide alternative options or solutions.

*Strong attention to detail.
