Where you'll work:

The company is currently looking for an IoT Deployment Manager to join them and lead the deployment of Internet of Things solutions in the business. You will be working for the Digital Transformation Leader and be part of their UK & Ireland wide Information Systems & Technology Team who are technical, innovative and strategic thinking individuals that all work effectively both as a team and individually. Their offices in Cannock in Staffordshire, Otterbourne in Hampshire and London afford a great opportunity to build a strong internal network, as you carry out your day to day role.

The IoT Deployment Manager leads and manages innovative and business change projects making a significant contribution to the company's business strategy to optimise their operations and deliver value to their customers. The role requires skill and tenacity in the areas of business change, IT technology procurement, negotiation, multi-disciplinary and external resource management.

What you'll do:

You will be in charge of building and delivering the pipeline of Internet of Things use cases in the business as well as building the roadmap to scale these up. You will cover highly innovative projects across the water, energy and waste sides of the business across the UK & Ireland.

You will work closely with the business (including but not limited to contract managers, general managers and customers), IoT sensor suppliers as well as the best technology providers. You will collaborate very closely with our Solution Architect and BI teams to deliver cloud-based solutions and embed machine learning as part of IoT deployment. You will be an ambassador of innovative solutions and promote a test-and-learn approach to investigate and confirm the successful solutions to scale.

About your knowledge, skills and experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or domain related subject area

* Proven track record working in an Agile environment

* Experience of leading several separate projects involving business change

* Evidence of leading business change with a mixture of external vendor provision, business stakeholder management and process

* Experience in a commercial business including implementing new processes and technologies to produce lasting competitive advantage

* Evidence of negotiating with service providers and driving selection through modern vendor engagement processes

* Evidence of managing a wide range of stakeholders and colleagues as a successful project delivery team

* Strong clear thinker having advanced oral and written communication skills

* Strong ability to meet objectives by influencing and collaborating across multiple teams

* Strong Execution Excellence
