Robotics Engineer - Bristol- £250-£350 per day

Spring Technology are currently working exclusively with a major e-Commerce Retailer and we're looking to recruit several Technical Engineers for our client based in Bristol. There will also be prospects to work across Europe for upcoming deployment projects throughout the year.

Contracts are due to commence in Spring 2018 and are initially expected to run for 3-4 months. The day rate will be paying from £250-£400 (depending on experience).

** Candidates with a background in mechanics, manufacturing, robotics or industrial engineering will be ideal for this position.

Key responsibilities -

- Performing on-site hardware and software support during initial system deployment

- Executing technical tasks such as installation of pre-configured servers, workstations and robots

- Installing, configuring, and testing all aspects of Robotics

- Provide training and direction to onsite third party assembly teams, operations and maintenance personnel

- Interfacing between non-technical and technical customers to translate detailed system requirements

- Ensuring that every aspect of the system meets customer requirements with a keen attention to detail

Full training will be provided for successful candidates; therefore applicants of all levels of seniority/experience will be considered.

Criteria -

- An interest in working in a quirky and fun company

- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field. Juniors and Senior college students in these areas of study are also invited to apply.

- Creativity and innovative problem solving skills with prior success in high-pressure, fast-paced environments

- Able to multi-task, prioritise and work with minimal supervision, in some cases

- Quick learner, who is comfortable working with advanced technologies including software, hardware, robotics, etc.

- Happy to work in environments like warehouses or construction sites while managing teams to accomplish challenging tasks

- Experience with AutoCAD, Java, C++ or XML will be highly desirable
