Software Support Analyst

SQL Scripts, Apache Tomcat, IIS, Oracle, SQL, HTTP, Window Servers, JIRA, Mantis, AWS, Jenkins, JavaScript

Chester; up to £35,000 + 25 days holiday + bank holidays + 5 days holiday purchase + onsite parking + on site gym + Healthcare + flexi working + pension doubled up to 10% + life assurance + occasional remote work

I am looking for a Software Support Analyst to join an Agile team of 8 Software Developers based in Chester near the Zoo! My client is a well-established and very busy, cash strong business with an international customer base and huge office presence in a thriving industry sector. As a picture of the scale of their operation, they have offices in 6 international locations!

You will be working with the development manager, interacting with the Software Developers, testers, project managers and the sales team. You will be working with an international business so you will get the chance to liaise with customers around the world in a mind boggling market! This will be great experience to have on your CV and you will have the chance to learn from some very talented individuals have a passion for technology and engineering.

You will be working on high value software products for major clients in the gravitational, nuclear, heat and light energy industry. The software this company provides helps those businesses to be more efficient and stay safe! This software is seriously important as it prevents kit which are huge assets to very big businesses from breaking and causing danger.

You will provide technical support on desktop and web software, improve support and practices, fact-find and resolve technical problems for customers, bring together the development and testing in house, manage customer SLA's, conduct reports, contribute to fixing customer servers and manage helpdesk processes.

Skills required within this role:

3 year' experience as a Software Support Analyst

Understanding and passion for technology and Engineering

Experience using issue Tracking Tools

My client are looking for individuals who have experience with the following; SQL Scripts, Apache Tomcat, IIS, Oracle, SQL, HTTP, Window Servers, JIRA, Mantis, AWS, Jenkins, JavaScript. Any of the aforementioned skills can be picked up if not already obtained.
