SAP Business One HANA Consultant (Contract)

My client has an exciting opportunity for a SAP Consultant to join their exciting team as a sub-contractor. The candidate must be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in optimising the features of SAP B1 (Hana). Reporting directly to the Systems Manager, the candidate is required to identify, plan and implement opportunities to increase operational efficiencies in SAP B1 (Hana).

Responsibilities (SAP Technician)

* Training of staff in SAP B1 (Hana) 'best practice'

* Work with the Systems team on generating and reviewing processes and process mapping for all areas of the organisation

* Define and implement performance dashboards from live SAP B1 (Hana) data

* Configure bespoke reports in Crystal Reports

* Generate training needs analysis and carry out the requisite training

Person Specification (SAP Technician)

* Knowledge of SAP B1 (Hana) is essential

* Experience in implementing and maintaining SAP B1 (Hana) in a manufacturing organisation

* Excellent understanding of operational processes and systems and the ability to review, improve and optimise their interaction with ERP programmes

* Previous experience in financial transactions, reporting and the role that finance takes in SAP B1 (Hana)

* Proficient in defining and configuring Crystal Reports

* Ability to work within a small team

* Excellent MS Excel skills

* Good communication skills

Contract: 6 months (initial)

Location: East Midlands

Rate: Competitive

Due to the nature of this role you MUST be able to live and work in the UK/EU by either holding a valid UK/EU working visa or be eligible to do so by other qualifying means as my client is unable to sponsor any work permits. The salary and benefits on offer are completely dependent upon experience.
