Debt Manager Specialist (V9)

Glasgow

Up to £47K

My client, a market leader in providing platforms and services for some of the UK largest financial services companies, are seeking an experienced Debt Manager Specialist.

You will be part of a growing and dynamic development team based in the centre of Glasgow. The candidate will be working on a major project to develop a Collections and Recoveries platform for a range of major blue chip clients.

Key Responsibilities

*Breaking down business specification into its simplest elements and translating this logic into an efficient technical design;

*devising possible solutions to anticipated problems;

*combining all elements of the technical design and progression through build to testing and execution;

*reacting to problems and correcting the design as necessary;

*evaluating and increasing the business process and technical designs' effectiveness;

*adapting the design to new requirements, as necessary;

*writing detailed documentation for the client and internal operations;

Required Skills

*Proven track record of development within the Collections and Recoveries landscape including in depth knowledge and experience of one of the major solutions e.g. Debt Manager (V9 or Legacy), Tallyman or CACS;

*Experience in SQL Server or similar

*Experience in Java and C# programming but not essential

*strong team working and interpersonal skills;

*excellent stakeholder management ability;

*proven problem solving and analytical skills;

*proficient in oral and written communication skills;

*excellent organisational and planning skills;

*strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks.
