The Company, a leading ISP to Business and Science Parks around the UK, are looking for 1st Line Customer Support Advisor to join their team to provide support over the phone and onsite for their customers. You will be their customer support on their hosting, telephony and connectivity platform and solutions; assisting customers with everything from assisting their customers understand their products and supporting users with troubleshooting issues with their connectivity; even assisting our engineers on site visits across the UK and ensuring that any interactions they have with our company are positive. Based in their Cambridge office, but with travel around the UK, you'll be providing support to their engineers internally and customers externally whilst ensuring their ISP services are delivered to the highest possible standard.

Essential

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Exemplary customer service skills

* Able to listen to customers' needs and offer appropriate advice

* A solid foundation and aptitude in IT

* Self-starter attitude

* A natural problem solver with a strong attention to detail

* Comfortable with researching a solution using your own initiative

* The ability to manage and prioritise multiple conflicting priorities requiring collaboration with multiple teams across the company

* Able to communicate technical solutions in an easy to understand manner for non-technical users

* A passion for knowledge and learning in the ISP/IT industry; keeping up to date with the latest trends and solutions

Desirable

* Experience with networking and firewalls

* Knowledge of Juniper and/or Cisco experience

* MikroTik experience

* Experience with Linux O/S

* Knowledge of VOIP solutions and their functionality

* Experience with VMWare and other virtualization environments
