Service Desk Analyst - Active Directory, Exchange
Service Desk Analyst required to join this professional services organisation that play a pivotal role in driving business decision making. As a Service Desk Analyst you will have a strong background in working with Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server technologies and ideally have worked in an ITIL environment.
You will provide, support and develop the IT infrastructure environment, including the installation, support, maintenance and upgrade of services to ensure the continuous provision and on going improvement of IT Infrastructure Services.
Working for this organisation will give you full exposure to working across infrastructure in 1st 2nd and 3rd line operations. You will have a great opportunity to develop and be given support from a highly technical community of Infrastructure Engineers.

As a Service Desk Analyst you will…
*Contribute to the design, installation, configuration and maintenance of the data centre environment,
*Implement, monitor and maintain the deployment of IT hardware and software upgrades in the IT customer environment,
*Manage system user accounts, security permissions, access rights and san storage allocations using appropriate methods to ensure system and data security and compliance with IT Legislation.
*Provide, maintain and monitor a robust data backup/recovery system
*Actively manage and classifying support requests received using ITIL best practices, including assessing the business priority, analyse, diagnose and take ownership of 1st, 2nd and 3rd line faults through to resolution
Key skills and experience
*Substantial relevant experience in a Microsoft Windows Environment
*Previous experience in a Windows Server Environment including Active Directory and Exchange
*Previous experience of carrying out backup and disaster recovery
*Previous experience in SAN technologies
*Previous experience of remote access working
*Previous experience of Microsoft Clustering and Hyper-V
*Previous experience of administering Cisco devices
