Calypso Application Architect/Contract/10 months/£545 per day
Spring Technology is currently recruiting for a Calypso Application Architect to work with our client based in Central London. This is a contract position for an initial 10 month period with the potential to extend. We are looking for an experienced Calypso Application Architect to define the functional/business capabilities that need to be implemented to operationalise the business requirements. The pay for this role is £545 per day.
Main tasks will include:
*Define which application components / subcomponents are required to implement each of the required functional/business capabilities and requirements, which component will be built vs. re-used vs. integrated with, and how
*Manages the Calypso CRs with support from the Calypso team, ensuring consistency and accuracy
*Define how the components of all the applications relate to each other, and how the facilities (new or existing) will support the capability or business area.
*Manages the integration and data domains of the application to ensure it has access to the required data and services, either locally stored or remotely accessed
*Ensure the application components align with the runtime and operations architectures and meet application performance goals
*Identify cross-capability and cross-release issues that affect the business architecture integrity
*Work with other architects to ensure the application components align with a specific architecture component and meet performance goals
*Aligns with the overall architecture of the solution, working closely with the Solutions Architects
Previous experience includes:
*Calypso CRs - including impact assessment and estimates
*Working with other architects
*Maintaining a log of Calypso customisations
*The ability to identify and address application and data issues that affect application integrity, in particular those related to interfaces
*The ability to identify risks and assumptions associated with the applications, being an important participant in the programme design authority and data forums
