Rate: £450 - £500 per day + accommodation (can be paid in Sterling, Euros, or Krone)

This is an excellent opportunity to work client side on a large new build data centre for one of the largest multinational tech firms in the world. My client is looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to join their client team to oversee the electrical sub-contractors during the build.

The successful Electrical Project Engineer will need to offer at least one completed project of a data centre construction build, multiple data centre projects completed being advantageous. The successful Electrical Package Manager will have a track record in managing the electrical package on a construction project, in particular managing day to day issues, maintaining programs and reporting into the M&E Project Manager / Owners Rep.

This is a site-based delivery position; therefore the Electrical Project Engineer will need to offer similar site experience managing electrical packages on a data centre build.

Accommodation will be paid for by the client in addition to the day rate.

In order to apply for this position as Electrical Project Engineer, you should first be certain that a rotation home to the UK of 1 long weekend every 4 weeks is something which will be suitable to you. There is no restriction on partners or family visiting you out in Denmark.

Essential Experience and Skills:

Recent (within the last 3 years) data centre construction project experience is essential.

* Must be Electrical bias and have a track record of managing all services throughout electrical engineering on live data centre construction projects.

* A minimum of 3 years Electrical Project Engineer experience, preferably gained with an electrical contractor or principal contractor.

* Must have excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

* Must be flexible to work in Denmark on a normal working week with rotation home to the UK 1 in 4.
