You like to explore the limits of tech.

So we’ll show you more than you could ever imagine.

You’re curious about tech. In fact, you push yourself to unlock all its possibilities. And that’s exactly the kind of thinking we need. Our people are inquisitive and creative, always finding new ways to tackle unique challenges. Here, we design secure communications systems for HM Government in the UK and abroad. So not only will you work on extraordinary projects, you’ll help protect the country and its interests.

The role

Whether you’re a computing hobbyist or an IT professional, this is a chance to work with cutting-edge technologies and join a world full of incredible innovation. From servers to mobile phone systems, you’ll plan, design and execute tests for software solutions that solve complex problems. It means accurately recording test results and providing detailed reports for a range of customers and developers. No matter what the task, you’ll take ownership and be involved in the whole process. Plus, you’ll support and maintain test environments, while contributing to test planning and project meetings. With your genuine interest in computing and technology, you’ll be eager to learn new skills and discover tech’s true potential. Join us, and have far-reaching impact - more than you could ever imagine.

Your profile

You can install and configure small business or home networks, as well as operating systems on either desktop, server, or mobile platforms.

You’ve got experience using a wide range of applications, including messaging apps and personal security products.

You hold an IT-related occupational, professional qualification (or equivalent experience).

While not essential, experience of software virtualisation technologies and using Defect Management tools (such as Jira) is an advantage. Scripting skills - including Python, PowerShell, Perl or Bash - will also strengthen your application. And it would help if you have an ISTQB/ISEB testing qualification, the ability to write technical reports, or experience designing test cases.

Rewards

In return, we’ll invest in your career by providing technical training, professional accreditation support, mentoring, and on-the-job learning to develop your software testing skills. On top of a welcoming workplace, you’ll also get a great rewards package that includes flexible hours.
