Web Developer
Fancy joining a dynamic team who are at the forefront of driving technical change and adoption of new technology within Financial Sector.!? They are currently recruiting a Web Developer for a 3 contract based in Milton Keynes. They are looking for you to start as soon as possible.
MUST HAVES:
Solid development skills with demonstrable experience of:
* HTML
* JavaScript
* CSS
DESIRABLES
* Knowledge and practical application of design patterns and object-oriented systems design.
* A firm understanding of object-oriented programme and design SOLID principals and their importance in day-to-day software development activities.
* Substantial experience in defining application architecture, as well as, communicating architectural vision and building consensus among other developers.
* A good understanding of API design.
* Experience in working within an Agile (SCRUM, LEAN/KANBAN, XP) environment.
* Able to create Behaviour Driven Design test specifications.
* A good working knowledge of OO JavaScript and experience of working with popular frameworks such as Angular, JQuery, Knockout.JS and AMD library.
* Experience of creating and consuming web services using WCF.
* Experience of working with Fluent nHibernate, or another ORM, for persisting data.
* Experience of working with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL
* Exposure to TeamCity or another continuous integration tool.
* Exposure to Octopus Deploy or another automated deployment tool.
* Experience of using JIRA and Confluence
