We have a great job opportunity for a Tender Planner to join a large, stable and ambitious company that provide construction and support services UK wide to the construction and infrastructure sectors.

This business is now looking to add a tender planner to their bid team, to work alongside a very experienced tender planner who will be reducing their days, but will still be around to coach and support you.

Given the majority of projects that this division (within this large business) focus on will be rail, highways and civil engineering projects (structures more that p-way, track or signalling) they are seeking a planner that has worked on tendering for similar projects. You'll have a background in civil engineering and be working on civil engineering projects.

This is an office based project 9/10ths of the time, but there will be site visits and the ability to work from home from time-to-time.

You should have experience working within a bid team that includes (Bid Manager, Estimator, PM Delivery, Commercial Manager and a Bid Writer).

You'll be able to use both Asta Powerproject and Primavera 6. You must be a team player, and want to stay with a company for the long-term.

Remuneration

They want to pay in the region of £55-70k, but could go slightly higher for an exceptional candidate. On top of this you'll get a great benefits package as well. A freelance contractor may be considered also, but only if there is a long-term commitment.
