C# Developer - DV Clearance

LOCATION: Central London

DURATION: 12 Months Contract with the option for further contract renewals

DAILY RATE: £ Attractive (subject to your skills and experience meeting our role requirements)

Role Profile

An exciting opportunity has arisen for us to recruit a talented C# Developer to work with a cutting edge client to play a major role in the uplift of an existing C# email routing system to add virtual hosting and modular configuration as part of a migration to centralised services.

Working with senior project managers, the main focus of the role is to ensure the delivery of accurate project documentations and designs. Therefore you will be required to update existing technical design documentations and specifications as well as create new technical design documentations and specifications.

Following a fast, iterative development approach and contributing to all activities within the software development life cycle, you will work collaboratively as part of the broader development team, sharing ideas and experience wherever possible.

The role will offer you the opportunity to gain experience of working in a DevOps and Agile lifecycle environment.

Candidate Profile

We are keen to talk to C# Developers with a proven track record and experience of developing enterprise wise business systems that are robust, maintainable, secure, scalable with good performance.

* You must have excellent working experience of C# Programming (.Net 2.5 and later), XSLT and XML;

* You must also have experience in XML and structures data operations using XSLT and XPATH;

* Understanding of e-mail, RFC2822 and e-mail server operations and integration;

* Understanding of database design, experience of database SQL language operations and in-process scripting.

Basic experience of Windows Workflow Framework and/or experience of development lifecycle process and associated tools e.g. GIT, JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, Selenium would be desirable.
