Structural Development Engineer

Eye, Suffolk

Exciting role on offer for a highly motivated Structural or Mechanical Engineering Graduate looking to work for a world leading company where you can become chartered and progress your career to become a specialist within this niche sector.

Do you have industry experience within Structural, Civil or Mechanical Engineering? Are you looking to become chartered?

This company are the world leaders in the manufacture of specialist structures used within high profile sectors worldwide such as Water, Waste Water, Biofuels, Renewable Energy and Biofuels sectors. With huge demands due to changing legislations they are looking to expand the business and are therefore looking to recruit an ambitious Structural Development Engineer who will be instrumental in the future success of this business.

This is a diverse and technically challenging role where you will be providing engineering knowledge and practical experience to the company's Design and Development programme. You will also drive standardisation of manufactured products whilst developing new products for the company.

This is a varied role which would be an ideal opportunity for a Graduate Engineer with experience who has the ambition to progress their career whilst having the opportunity to become chartered and be instrumental in the success of this growing business.

The Role;

* Support and maintain a design and development programme to meet customer requirements

* Drive standardisation of manufactured products

* Drive change and develop more efficient processes

* Support the delivery of the company's research and development programme

* Develop new products (Thin Shelled Structures)

* Use FEA analysis

* Become Chartered

The Person;

* Degree Educated Structural / Civil / Mechanical Engineering

* Must have some industry experience - ideally 1-2 years

* Must want to become Chartered or already working towards this

* Must have design experience of 2D & 3D CAD

* Must have FEA experience

* Must have excellent communication skills

* Must have a valid UK passport for travel purposes
