Based in Dublin South, As lead QA Automation Engineer you have relevant experience in setting up Automation frameworks from scratch in an agile environment using tools such as C#, ASP.Net and SQL. This is an exciting role for Lead QA Automation Engineer, make the role your own and help my client improve its automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead QA automation engineer reporting into the QA manager.

* Ability to create new automation frameworks.

* Non-functional testing, such as automation, performance and API testing to be performed.

* Managing the QA test automation deployments through GIT for the team.

* Establishing new standards and best practises within the QA team for test automation.

* Mentoring other QA engineers in the team on automation.

* Work closely with the business development manager/account manager to ensure the customer's and clients interests are best served at all levels.

* Raising alerts when an important issue is likely to put in jeopardy the whole project

Required Skills & Experience:

* 5 years + automation or development experience preferably within web based systems developed in C#, ASP.NET and SQL.

* Experience managing a team of automating engineers.

* Expertise with building out automation frameworks and an understanding of web UI and browser based testing within test automation.

* Should be proficient at writing complex code in a .Net environment for the purpose of Tools Automation.

* Good Knowledge of Jenkins or similar CI tools.

* Familiarity in working in an Agile Environment

* Exposure to SCM tools such as GIT.

* Experience of setting and running performance and load tests Knowledge and ability to read source code a definite advantage.

* Attention to detail and ability to work on own initiative.

* Strong problem solving skills, logical and structured in approach.

* Experience of working in projects for the e-commerce sector is an advantage.

* Enjoy working as part of a team in problem solving and developing new processes
