Salesforce Specialist

We are currently looking for a Salesforce Specialist to help deliver an opportunity with a Government Client. This particular piece of work is currently in the Discovery Phase.

The Client organisation has an ambitious vision to protect current markets and grow revenues. Their Commercial and Business Development Strategy aims to build a more commercially savvy organisation capable of exploiting new markets and winning new sales in an increasingly competitive market.

The key to building this business capability is the introduction of CRM application technology with capabilities including:

*Process integration from lead generation, sales pipeline tracking, to contract

*Business functionality for product catalogue, customer intelligence, sales account plans and service tickets and

*Better management information, covering customer satisfaction, key accounts, opportunity management and sales pipeline management.

The anticipated benefits of CRM include improved customer experience, internal business process efficiency, and better customer insights leading to increased sales.

A Green Book Business Case activity recently concluded. Business requirements were elicited and agreed. Following an evaluation of candidate software solutions, Salesforce Lightning was recommended to replace the current Microsoft Dynamics CRM solution.

The objective of the Discovery Phase is to scope the business and technology solution to support the transformation of the Commercial & Business Development function. The Technology Management & Integration Supplier will work with the CRM Solution Configuration Services Supplier who in turn are charged with defining how Salesforce Lightning will be configured and deployed in the Client organisation to support sales activities.

The Discovery Phase delivers the integrated people-process-technology Definition, which inputs to the subsequent Design, Development and Testing (or 'Build and Validate' in Salesforce's terminology) and Deployment activity ahead of live Operation. The Discovery Phase comprises a number of activities across the systems development lifecycle which includes: application design & configuration, user set-up, data migration, installation, training, testing, and live operations readiness.

A key output is the Solution Deployment Plan, setting out business users, technology capability roll-out phasing, milestones, resources and indicative costs.

CRM Solutions Requirements;

The Salesforce Lightning technology being configured by the CRM Solution

Configuration Supplier will support the following business requirements:

*Business process integration from lead generation, sales pipeline tracking, to contract.

*Business functionality for product catalogue, customer intelligence, sales account plans and service tickets.

*Management information, covering customer satisfaction, key account and opportunity management, and sales pipeline management.

*A business population of 180 users, of which 110 will be 'full', and 70 'lite' users.

The Miller Heiman 'Sales Access Manager' App will support:

*'Gold' and 'Blue' Sheet account planning activity.

*A business population of 60 users.

Experience Required:

*Successful track record of delivering Salesforce CRM capabilities in to large, complex organisations.

*Experience of working with CxO level stakeholders to define and agree requirements and proposals.

*Experience of translating technical requirements to a non technical audience.

Desirable:

*Government/Public Sector experience

*SC/DV Clearance
