My Government Client require a Technical Architect to work within their Operations team in the Secure Cloud and Applications domains and assist the Technical Services Manager to deliver improvements, efficiency's and updated capabilities. Customers are requesting new mobility solutions and updates to the existing products and this role will support the definition and internal development of them.

The role requires the architect to be able to design and develop in-depth technical solutions that are passed to the Operations and Service Teams. An understanding of ITIL is desired with TOGAF or other relevant Architecture framework being quite essential; an understanding of appropriate priorities and classifications according to SLA's required. All designs and solutions should aid to keeping the Operations team within their SLA time frame to help maintain the overall SLA.

The architect should have a knowledge of different systems and technologies and Operating systems and be able to design and develop in-depth Active Directory and Group Policy solutions. I.E. incorrect OU (Organisational Units) configuration or permissions, script investigation, script writing and user or computer group policies failing to get to work station. A good understanding of Server 2003/2008/2012/2016, Windows 7/8/10 workstation operating system and registry is required and the ideal candidates should be able to design, develop and implement in these areas and have experience of virtual and cloud based technologies.

There is a requirement to create HLD's and LLD document sets held within the document store. This is a key feature in successful architecture for the Operations team and sharing knowledge across the team.

Mandatory Skills and Experience Required:

Technical Background:

*Experience of below in an enterprise environment.

*MS Windows 2003/2008/2012/2016 Server

*Experience working with CxO level stakeholders to define and agree requirements and proposals in a Government secure environment.

*Well rounded experience in Microsoft and EUD technologies having achieved MCSE level qualifications

*Experience working within Prince2 and Agile project management methodologies.

*Experience in designing, building and maintaining operational EUD and IT infrastructure environments.

*Experience with storage technologies (NetApp)

*Experience with VMware 5.5 - to 6.X

*Experience with Citrix XenApp based published applications and desktops.

*Experience with Linux technologies

Service Delivery:

*Experience in working alongside many aspects of the ITIL3 environment, such as release to production, problem and change management.

*The ability to take a complex problem and drive through to the end goal.

*Strong analytical ability where trouble shooting scripted on-boarding processes.

*Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to deliver.

*The ability to create and support Operational Process documentation.

*The ability to create and manage Operational Acceptance Criteria.

*Experienced in Secure Mobile Technologies.

*Experienced in Cryptographic material handling.

*Experienced in Cisco Security devices.

*Working experience of AEP technologies.

*Good problem solving and analytical skills.

*Good interpersonal and communication skills and an excellent team player.

*Well organised and able to work under pressure to achieve to tight deadlines.

Desirable

Operating Infrastructure:

*MCP/MCSE accreditation.

*Linux

*VM Ware

*HyperV

*TOGAF

*Office365 Product back end services

*Experience of Service Desk toolsets

*Foundation certificate in ITIL Service Management

*Prince2 qualification.

*ITIL qualification.

*Have worked on IT strategic projects and proposals inside Government.

*Have worked on MS Office 365 hybrid deployments and migrations

Experience of any of the following:

*Citrix

*UNIX

*SQL 6.5/2003/2005/2008/2012/2016

*Exchange/Lync 2010/2013/2016

*SharePoint

*Working knowledge of Infrastructure Monitoring tools

*PowerShell
