Web Content Producer - Canary Wharf - Till March 2018

Web Content Producer required to join a client in the Financial Services Sector based in Canary Wharf on an initial 2 month contract with the view to extend.

The role:

As part of your role, you will be responsible for managing the client's content changes across all their platforms. This will include editing existing content and creating new pages and content based on wireframes, copy decks and content briefs.

Mandatory Skills:

Technical Skills/Competencies

* Web content management/content editing skills.

* Competent and experienced in using HTML, basic CSS, Adobe Photoshop and content management systems.

* Clear thinking and excellent organisational skills.

* Effective written and oral communication skills, including negotiation and influencing.

* Good relationship management skills

* Creative and structured approach to change.

* Practical self-starter able to manage a number of activities against deadlines.

* A logical, analytical approach to problem solving and close attention to detail.

Knowledge and Expertise - Essential

* Experience of digital production, including using content management systems, creating/editing images and interpreting wireframes to create new or modify existing content.

* Understand new technology and how it can be used to drive online innovation for customer and commercial benefits.

* Detailed understanding of the application of Brand principles.

* Knowledge of financial services products and their promotion.

* Experience of working in the financial services industry

* Understanding of the importance of risk and rigour management and corporate governance, including regulated practices.

* Knowledge of business disciplines such as sales, marketing, finance, operations, IT.

Responsibilities:

Work as part of a busy web content management team to:

* Manage content changes across the client's websites and other platforms that fall within the remit of Digital Banking, ensuring accuracy of content and high quality execution.

* Be an acknowledged web content expert, driving innovation in delivery.

* Ensure websites sites align to brand, style and DDA guidelines and that audit requirements are met throughout the online change process.

* Modify existing and create new web pages based on wireframes, copy decks and content briefs

* Manage the sign-off process to ensure every change meets the brief and stakeholders' expectations of accuracy, speed of delivery and user experience.

* Ensure that assigned content changes are well-managed day-to-day, to provide a dynamic, updated environment for the customer and to ensure deadlines are adhered to.

* Ensure that change is integrated into our sites in a cohesive and customer-friendly manner.

* Accountable for updating content to received briefs and where necessary ensuring that content is removed from sites according to appropriate timescales.

* Accountable for ensuring all new content has appropriate sign-offs prior to going live and that all audit requirements are met.

* Ensure content change is implemented free of errors.

* Accountable for management of content through workflow from content request through to publication.

* Follow brand guidelines and appropriate use of templates and design frameworks.
