Software Development Project Manager - Manchester

My client a market leading organisation requires a Software Development Project Manager to join them on an initial 6-month contract. Reporting to a Project Portfolio Manager the Project Manager will take full ownership of the running of projects from initiation, through to delivery and closure, working to the agreed timescales. The Project Manager will ensure projects are resourced, planned and controlled correctly. You will be working with a software development team delivering a range of complex projects across the complete project lifecycle. You will have:

* Experience managing simultaneous deliveries across a variety of technology platforms and software.

* Experience of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, and in particular pragmatism when defining the most appropriate delivery approach for the work required to best support the requirements of the business.

* Experience managing projects covering transformation and technical re-writes, in particular using such technologies as C#.Net, SQL Server.

You will have worked on a range of Software Development projects and worked closely with and managed Software Developers and wider IT teams.
